How do I register my kids? Can I register multiple kids?

You can certainly register multiple students at a single time. To register, you will need to add the number of spots (students) for each program. You also have an option to register yourself if you are interested in taking the course alongside your students. After checkout, you will be redirected to a “Thank you page” that has a link to your household “Group Page.” There you will add your students to the course.

Can I buy one course for both my kids to use?

To ensure the best learning experience, we only allow one purchase for one student. The student will have their own account to track their individual learning process and rewards.

What information do I need to register my kids? Is the information necessary?

During the registration, we will ask for kids’ name, date of birth, email address. All of the information is secured and solely for the. use of the course.

Is my child eligible to sign up for the course?

Our courses are designed for age 11-18. Any kids who are within the age range are eligible to sign up for the courses. We do offer the exception if the kids are extremely interested in personal finance and are willing to participate the class. We have also added an option for parents to register along with their students if interested.

What is the closing date for registration?

This Self-Paced Learning program is an all-year program. You can register and get your kids started at any time. Our scheduled sessions close when they have either filled to capacity or the day prior to the start date.

What is your cancelation and refund policy?

We are happy to issue a full refund of your purchase within the following guidelines:

  • Self-Paced Course: If requested within 7 days after purchase and the course is less than 25% complete.
  • Live-Streamed Classes: Request to cancel must be made a minimum of 7 days prior to the start of the class

Do you offer scholarship for this program?

Yes. We offer scholarship programs for students based on both merit and need.

What are the fees for this program?

What do I need to prepare for my kids?

Parents please make sure the students have the right equipment and environment for E-learning. We strongly encourage the students to use a desktop or a laptop with audio and have a stable internet connection. We would also love to have students turn on their camera when they sign up for group activities. In addition, learning utensils such as a notebook and pens are preferable.

What is the typical class size?

The class is usually 12-16 kids with 2 instructors.

Is there any prerequisite to take the class?

The fundamentals program does not require a prerequisite to take the class. However, the advance program does require the students to take the fundamental classes first or have a decent knowledge of personal finance. We strongly suggest the students take the class from fundamental to advance.

 Who will be teaching my kids? 

Our instructors are well-trained college students who are pursuing a degree concentrated on finance, accounting, business, etc. We have selected the top instructors from 300+ application each year. The instructors are very informative, engaging and relatable.

Do my kids have to have the camera and sound on?

Yes. The students have to open the camera and turn on the sound. We need the students to present in the class to check attendance and maintain class discipline. We would love to have the students get as much as possible from an engaging class.

What about if my kids miss one session?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a make-up session due to class arrangement. Please make sure you select the date and time that fits your schedule.

How actively are parents involved?

We will communicate with parents on a daily basis. Parents will receive the emails from the instructor everyday about students’ performance in the class.

What is the minimum students count to open the class?

We are opening the class at a minimum of 4 registration to ensure the class activities can carry on.

What programs are available?

During the school year, we will offer these courses during holiday breaks.

During the summer, we will be offering 6 programs options. We have 10-hour money fundamentals for beginners and 10-hour money advance for students who have already take the fundamental class or who have personal finance foundation. These 2 programs are focused on personal finance perspectives, such as taxes, income, credits, etc. Then we have 10-hour investing fundamentals for beginners and 10-hour investing advance for higher level. The investing programs are focused on basics principle of investing and U.S. Investing markets. Last, we have 30-hour camp for both fundamental program and investing program. The camp will be a combine of fundament and advance of each program.

How long is the class?

The 10-hour programs will be a daily 2-hour session or 1-hour session for 1 or 2 weeks. The 30-hour programs will be a daily 5-hour session for 1 week.

Is the curriculum different for different age group?

We use the same curriculum for the same program. But for older age group, the instructor will add more conversational topics that are related to their life such as buying cars, going to colleges, etc.  The instructor will adjust the curriculum depending on the class’s requirement.

My kids attended summer camps before. How is this year different?

No matter your kids have attended our in-person camp or virtual camp before, this year we just have more for you. This year we have different levels of the program the students can choose what are the best options for them. If they have attended the camp not long ago, they can advance to the next level of personal finance or investing!

How is the class engaging?

We understand the concerns of virtual learning. Our biggest goal is to make every program engaging and have the students get a lot out of it. In this program, the instructor will be very engaging to deliver the information through lots of activities, games; we also have a point system “Moola” to keep students engaged; The students will be learning through fun and happiness with the peers.

How is the 30-hour camp different?

The 30-hour camp is a combination of our Personal Finance and Investing classes. The curriculum is designed for a more detail and thorough learning environment for students. Additionally, the 30-hour camp offers more projects, activities and more time to work independently with their peers.
