Rosen Family Foundation created the Wealthy Habits program to build meaningful learning experiences that enable students to learn and apply practical knowledge and financial skills to real-world challenges. The curriculum, whether used in part or in its entirety has been structured to fit easily into your current curriculum. Download the sample to see for yourself.

The JDR Family Foundation in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is pleased to offer teacher training workshops and materials designed from our middle school curriculum.

The workshop is designed to help teachers understand the materials and how to facilitate the program in the interactive manner that increases retention and interest. Teachers are also provided with the Teacher Guide and the electronic files of all materials to use in their classroom. The content is aligned with the Georgia Performance Standards for middle school personal finance SS8E5.

About Wealthy Habits Programs

Wealthy Habits programs mix fun and finance. Our philosophy is to show students how making smarter choices now will benefit them in the future. By participating in role-playing games, they experience what life as an adult might look like (working, paying bills, making financial choices, etc.). They soon understand how choices along the way can affect their future outcome.

Since its launch in 2012, Wealthy Habits has taught over 3,000 students through its own day programs and camps. Student and parent feedback continues to prove the outstanding impact Wealthy Habits has on its students.

Why Wealthy Habits

Adults who are financially successful generally develop wealthy habits through behaviors and examples modeled by their parent(s) or guardians and their teachers. Wealthy Habits is intended to provide the tools to assist in teaching the value of wise money management, ultimately opening an opportunity for a child’s financially secure future.
