About Us
Wealthy Habits is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing practical, real-world financial education to students through engaging, structured programs. We work with students at different stages of their development, delivering education through our own programs as well as in partnership with schools and community organizations. Our focus is on helping young people build confidence, make informed decisions, and develop skills they can carry into adulthood.
Our work is grounded in consistency, clarity, and long-term thinking. We are intentional about how programs are designed, delivered, and evaluated to ensure quality experiences for students and responsible stewardship of resources.
Our Mission
We equip youth from underserved communities with the money skills and mindset to break cycles of financial insecurity. We don’t just teach budgeting or saving, we cultivate wealthy habits that help young people envision, earn, and build better futures.
Our Vision
A future where young people are prepared to navigate financial decisions with confidence, independence, and a clear understanding of how money affects their lives and opportunities.
Our Story
Wealthy Habits was founded in 2012 with a simple but powerful goal: to make financial education relevant, practical, and accessible to young people. What began as a small program has grown into an established organization serving students through camps, school partnerships, and long-term cohort-based programs.
Over the years, the organization has expanded its reach by refining curriculum, strengthening partnerships, and developing repeatable program models. This growth has been guided by experience, data, and a commitment to quality rather than rapid expansion. Today, Wealthy Habits has served thousands of students nationwide and continues to evolve with a focus on sustainability and impact.

Our work is guided by a commitment to clarity, thoughtful growth, and meaningful impact. We create programs that are well-designed, repeatable, and aligned with student needs, while using resources responsibly and remaining accountable to students, partners, and donors. We believe lasting impact comes from doing fewer things well and building systems that allow the organization to operate efficiently and endure over time.
