Marcus Veazie
University of Georgia (May 2026)
Major: Entertainment and Media Studies
I’m a first-year student at the University of Georgia majoring in Entertainment and Media Studies with a minor in General Business. Since elementary school, I’ve had an extreme passion for video editing and creating content, whether that be making funny sketches with friends, or working on long-term projects like short films and commercials. I also have a strong love for basketball and football, two sports that I played competitively throughout my grade school years and still enjoy playing recreationally. I can’t wait to help make a difference with Wealthy Habits, and look forward to joining the team!
Cierra Piggott

As a rising junior at Georgia State University, I am excited for the opportunity to learn new skills and soak up as much knowledge as I possibly can through this internship! Photography and videography have been interests of mine since I was very young and have grown into something I am very passionate about. I love to create and design new things and hope to learn how to use these skills in a professional setting. I’m very eager to be in an environment where I can use my creativity to help others in my community. I’m looking forward to an enriching summer at Wealthy Habits!

I’m a content creator for the Newhouse School, where I design original content for the school’s Instagram and TikTok accounts. I’ve learned to conduct interviews and cover guest speakers and special events, with a strong focus on video recording and editing. I can’t wait to work on a team where I can further strengthen my skills and gain more hands-on experience in a professional setting. I’m looking forward to spending the summer in Atlanta to join the team and become a part of Wealthy Habits!
Instructor Interns
Jenna McClain
Murray State University (December 2023)
Major: Economics
I am a rising senior at Murray State University pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in Marketing. I was raised with parents that put great emphasis on financial awareness and learning how the “real world” operates. Considering the rising costs of both secondary education and living expenses in general, I find it important that younger generations know how to make smart financial decisions before being forced into a world of student loans and overpriced rent. After studying abroad at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea and nannying for multiple years in high school, I believe my experiences both in diverse cultural environments and working with kids will help me connect with Wealthy Habits participants. I care about giving kids a good financial knowledge base, and I hope to make the experience as fun as possible for everyone involved!
Malli Gutta
Cornell University (May 2026)
Major: Mathematics
I am a rising sophomore at Cornell University, where I am majoring in mathematics and minoring in business and computer science. During high school, I taught my school’s math team, and the process of doing so was very rewarding. The teaching process improved my skill set and my understanding of the material, and I am eager to reap the same benefits from becoming a Finance Instructor Intern. Not only that, but I am excited to help empower students and help shape their future. Financial literacy is an important skill for people to have, and I am looking forward to becoming a part of such a dedicated team. I am excited to share my interest in finance with others, and I hope I will be able to leave a positive, long-lasting impact on the students here!
Asil Patel
University of Tennessee (May 2026)
Major: Finance
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, majoring in finance. I love playing and watching sports. My favorite sport to play is soccer, which I played for about eight years. Financial literacy is something my parents have taught me since I was in high school, and I can say it has definitely helped me now that I am in college. I believe teaching young students about financial literacy is very important because it can help them and prepare them for the real world in the future. I am so excited to be an intern for Wealthy Habits and cannot wait to teach the younger generation about financial literacy.
Claire Lee
University of Georgia (May 2026)
Major: Marketing with International Business
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Georgia pursuing a degree in Marketing with an International Business Co-Major. My fascination with financial management and finance books began during high school when I realized how little I knew about essential finance skills like credit card usage and savings. So, I am incredibly excited and passionate about sharing my interest in financial literacy with my students because I never had a proper educator to teach me this subject. My goal is to have the students be able to apply the valuable skills they acquire at Wealthy Habits for the rest of their lives, leading to a financially secure and fulfilling future. I love to bring meaningful experiences to people, so I am excited to collaborate with my fellow interns and students to create a transformative learning environment!
Maya Ballerstedt
University of Pennsylvania (May 2026)
Major: Philosophy, Politics, Economics
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying philosophy, politics, and economics. Ever since high school, I have been very passionate about how education can be used to uplift communities. In college, I am passionate about legislative advocacy and activism. I am also very interested in improving inclusion in education spaces, and am a Montessori school consultant for Penn’s DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) consulting club. I am especially excited about working with Wealthy Habits to help kids develop their financial literacy so that they are more successful in their future endeavors. I also am looking forward to learning from people with different perspectives and further developing my own financial knowledge at Wealthy Habits.
Brooke Smith
University of Georgia (May 2026)
Major: Economics
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Georgia where I am pursuing my B.A in Economics. Throughout my childhood, it was always instilled in me to have good financial habits, and I have always believed that having good personal finance skills is very needed, especially for teens and young adults. My college experiences have definitely reinforced this, as I have noticed that many of my friends do not have a lot of good financial habits, in terms of saving and budgeting. As such, I am looking forward to joining the Wealthy Habits team as an instructor to help educate future generations on the skills and importance of financial literacy!
Charlie Tutt
University of Alabama (May 2025)
Major: Finance
I am a rising junior at the University of Alabama, and I am majoring in finance with a minor in real estate. About eight years ago, I was in the Wealthy Habits summer camp, where I learned valuable lessons about money management, financial literacy, and the importance of goal-setting. From a young age, I have had an entrepreneurial spirit. I started my first business in high school, manufacturing and distributing customized masks during the pandemic. I am excited to teach the importance of personal finance to younger students and hope to positively impact their lives the same way I was. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and golden retriever, Teddy.
Rohan Leveille
Brown University (May 2026)
Major: Economics and Urban Studies
I am a rising sophomore at Brown University double majoring in Economics and Urban Studies. This summer, I am so excited to combine my passion for economics and financial literacy with my love of education. I have always been interested in the details of how money and finances work, something that I am pursuing further in college. Additionally, in my time in high school and college, I have found a passion for teaching students about important subjects, such as financial literacy. I’m looking forward to a great summer teaching Wealthy Habits students!
Olive Weeks
Centre College (May 2025)
Major: Economics & Finance and International Studies
I am a rising junior at Centre College. I am double majoring in Economics & Finance and International Studies. Personal finance is something that I started exploring in high school but didn’t realize until college just how important it is. My interest in economics and investing started after I attended a Wealthy Habits camp as a student. From there it quickly became my favorite class in high school and college. These are foundational skills that will help students through their lives and I am thrilled to be a part of that education. This was an important experience for me as a student and I can’t wait to share it.
Jack Hancotte
University of Georgia (May 2023)
Major: Economics
I am a graduate student at the University of Georgia pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics. I recently received my undergraduate degree in Economics from UGA this previous semester. As someone who sees the value in public service, I view it as a privilege to serve the communities that need our help the most. Bolstering financial literacy in the local youth is especially important to me, and I am honored to be part of the Wealthy Habit’s organization to make a difference in the lives of our future leaders.
