The Alumni Council is comprised of past, top-tier interns of Wealthy Habits who now serve in an advisory capacity alongside the Board of Trustees. Their passion and previous experience with the organization allow them to continue making a difference in the community.

The advisory board is a group of experts who volunteer their skills, guidance, and knowledge to help us to achieve our goals. Most of all, our Advisory Board members share in our passion and are ambassadors in their community bringing new opportunities to the organization.

About Wealthy Habits

Wealthy Habits, a 501(c)(3) public charity, is centered on “building a society that makes good financial decisions and focuses on practicing life-long wealthy habits that lead to generational prosperity.” The Wealthy Habits program has been providing financial literacy camps and classes for teens since 2016. Having taught more than 11,000 students thus far, the future of the organization is targeting exponential growth over the next 5 years.

How the Advisory Board Helps

  • Provide insight and new ideas during planning sessions.
  • Work alongside our Board Members, Alumni Council and staff to provide value to the organization
  • Be an advocate in your community
  • Make valuable connections with new partners in the community

Expectations

  • Actively participate in at least one committee (see committees listed below)
  • Provide skills, advice, and assistance related to the issues of the committee and organization
  • Advocate for Wealthy Habits’ mission by participating in fundraising and networking events
  • Attend and participate in committee meetings and the annual Board meeting (may attend virtually)
  • Serve a one-year term with a time commitment of up to 8 hours monthly

  • Finance Committee (investment and financial oversight and compensation)
  • Legal Committee (contracts and compliance and trademark law)
  • Impact Committee (technology and data acquisition)
  • Education Committee (program growth and success)
  • Fundraising Committee (grant applications and compliance)
